The chosen technicians have a very high level of technical competence and use the most accurate Swiss CNC machines for EDM; they routinely supply the military and medical industries, working with precision down to a micron (thousandth of a millimetre). To achieve this complex shape of the cartridge body it was necessary to use the most complex high pressure injection molding tool that Rega has ever designed. The tool consists of eight major parts, four of which must move in perfect sync with each other to make each cartridge.
