When one of the screens only accepts 4K 4:2:0 or 1080p, the matrix scales the signal down for that output and keeps full resolution on the others. Each zone has its audio extracted at the same time to a balanced or unbalanced stereo analogue output and to an optical output; the analogue inputs also allow an external audio feed to be inserted into the source signal. EDID handling can be set input by input. It suits both professional and residential installations and mounts in a 19-inch rack.

Key features

Eight HDMI inputs and eight outputs, freely routable

18 Gbps HDMI 2.0 with HDR, 4K at 60 Hz in 4:4:4

Per-output reduction to 4K 60 Hz 4:2:0 or 1080p

Bitstream multichannel surround audio, object-based formats included

Audio of every zone on analogue and optical outputs at the same time

Control by front panel, IR remote, RS-232 port, TCP/IP network and web interface

Independent IR routing; 5 V IR receivers and emitters included

Connections

Eight HDMI type A inputs and eight outputs, eight S/PDIF optical outputs, eight 5-pole Phoenix terminals for the analogue outputs and eight more for the analogue inputs.
