Each output can scale the signal on its own: if one of the two screens only accepts 4K 4:2:0 or 1080p it gets a suitable format, while the other keeps showing full 4K. This is set with a small DIP switch, and a second 4-way switch handles EDID. Audio comes out simultaneously on an optical digital output and an analogue stereo jack, to connect a soundbar or amplifier. CEC commands only pass between the source and the screen on output 1. The splitter is compact and runs from a small 5 V adapter supplied in the box.

Key features

One HDMI input copied to two HDMI outputs

18Gbps HDMI 2.0 with HDR, up to 4K 60Hz in 4:4:4

Independent scaling for 4K 4:2:0 or 1080p screens

Resolutions from VGA to WUXGA and from 480i to 4K

Audio extracted on optical and analogue stereo outputs

Bitstream of multichannel surround audio, object-based formats included

Advanced EDID and HDCP 2.2

Technical data

One HDMI Type A input and two outputs, an optical output, an analogue output on a 3.5 mm stereo jack, a 4-way EDID DIP switch and a 2-way one for Smart Scale.
