It is built by hand at the Skanderborg factory, in Denmark.

The tweeter is the Esotar 3, with DSR-treated soft dome, Hexis inner dome, neodymium magnet and light aluminium voice coil. The woofer has a one-piece MSP cone, neodymium magnet and long-excursion voice coil on a glass-fibre former. The reflex port, larger in diameter, is flared at both ends. The second-order crossover uses a few selected components: Mundorf capacitors and resistors and a large air-core coil.

Technical features

Two-way bass reflex design, double-flared port at the rear

28 mm Esotar 3 tweeter with Hexis

18 cm MSP woofer with neodymium magnet

Crossover point at 3,600 Hz, second-order filters

Sensitivity 86 dB (2.83 V/1 m), nominal impedance 4 Ohm

Response from 50 Hz to 23 kHz within 3 dB

IEC power handling of 180 W

215 x 440 x 400 mm (W x H x D), 14.6 kg

Available versions

Sold as a pair, in the Black High Gloss finish only.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/5278/7645/files/dynaudio-contour-20-black-edition-ton7a.webp?v=1791541740
