Gallo Acoustics has developed it as a complement to its whole loudspeaker range, to be used with music and with film soundtracks alike. The Class D amplifier supplies 200 W and, as stated by the manufacturer, the low-end extension reaches 32 Hz.

Of the two RoomSub models it is the more compact and the lighter one: the MDF cabinet weighs 12 kg, against the 19 kg of the RoomSub 10, which has a larger woofer and 300 W. The drive unit has a PP cone and an NBR surround. To blend it with the main loudspeakers there is an active low-pass filter, with a cut-off frequency that can be adjusted continuously.

Technical features

Woofer: 8-inch, downward-facing, PP cone and NBR surround

Class D digital amplifier: 200 W

Stated low-end extension: 32 Hz

Active low-pass filter: from 50 to 180 Hz, continuously adjustable

Cabinet: MDF

Overall size: 28.6 x 34.2 x 28.6 cm

Weight: 12 kg

Available versions

Sold as a single unit, in Satin Black and Matt White finishes.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/5278/7645/products/Gallo-acoustics-Roomsub_GRS8-su-videosell-05.jpg?v=1668510165
