It is a two-way design with a 7-inch RST II mid-bass unit and a 1-inch C-CAM tweeter fitted with a UD Waveguide II. The CP suffix stands for Controlled Performance: the speaker has a completely sealed back box that gives the drive units a defined air load, so that midrange and bass stay consistent whatever structure it is mounted in.

The rear enclosure is rigid and mineral-filled, and it cuts the sound radiated from the back by about 30 dB, limiting the passage of sound towards nearby rooms and floors. The cut-out is 212 mm; the cable is attached through the Quik-Link connector and the fixing is Tri-Grip II.

Technical features

Configuration: two-way, one channel, sealed-box loading

Drive units: RST II mid-bass, 7-inch (178 mm), and C-CAM tweeter, 1-inch (25 mm), crossing over at 2.5 kHz

Frequency response (installed, -6 dB): 70 Hz to 35 kHz

Impedance: 8 Ohm nominal, 6.4 Ohm minimum at 15 kHz

Sensitivity: 87 dB (2.83 Vrms at 1 m, installed); peak sound pressure level up to 116 dB

Power: 65 W continuous handling; suggested amplifier from 35 to 130 W

Cut-out: 212 mm diameter; mounting depth 177.5 mm

Outer size with grille: 242 x 242 mm, 181.5 mm deep; weight 2.6 kg

Available versions

Sold as a single unit.
