It rests on top of the Silver 50 8G or the Silver 300 8G and aims sound at the ceiling, which reflects it: overhead effects are obtained with no speakers installed in the ceiling.

It is a sealed two-way design, with a 5.25-inch mid-woofer in C-CAM with RST III profile plus a C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter of 25 mm fitted with an optimised waveguide. The refined crossover takes care of the hand-over between the two drivers; the cabinet is rigid and braced, with through-bolt driver fixing (Through-Bolt) to reduce resonance. Magnetic grilles are included.

Technical features

Configuration: two-way, sealed cabinet

Drivers: one 5.25-inch RST III mid-woofer in C-CAM and one 25 mm Gold Dome tweeter in C-CAM with waveguide

In-room frequency response (-6 dB): 82 Hz - 35 kHz

Sensitivity: 85.5 dB (2.83 Vrms at 1 m, free field)

Impedance: 8 Ohm nominal, 3.5 Ohm minimum at 6.8 kHz

Crossover point: 2.8 kHz

Recommended amplifier: 30-120 W on 4 Ohm, 15-60 W on 8 Ohm; continuous power handling 60 W

Size, every accessory fitted: height 185 mm, width 185 mm, depth 312 mm

Weight: 4.5 kg each

Available versions

Sold as a pair, in High Gloss Black, Satin White and European Walnut finishes.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/5278/7645/files/monitor-audio-silver-ams-8g-nero-lucido.jpg?v=1791447266
