nordost-frey-2-cavo-di-alimentazione
Nordost Frey 2 Power Cord

Nordost Frey 2: five-conductor Norse 2 power cord

Frey 2 is a power cord from the Norse 2 series with five 16 AWG conductors. Each conductor, solid-core in silver-plated OFC copper, is insulated in FEP and held in suspension by the Micro Mono-Filament structure from Nordost, which surrounds it with a virtual dielectric of air. The outcome is a construction controlled both electrically and mechanically, able to transfer current and voltage very quickly and at low impedance.

The topology of the Micro Mono-Filament conductors also dissipates the mechanical energy travelling on the power line which, on entering the electronics, would make their dynamic response slow and blurred. Because design and materials are consistent throughout the Norse 2 series, uniform cabling can be built for the entire system.

Technical features

Conductors: five, 16 AWG each

Material: solid-core OFC copper, 99.99999% pure, plated in silver

FEP insulation

Micro Mono-Filament construction with mechanically tuned lay and length

DC resistance: 2.0 Ohm for every 1000 feet

Propagation velocity of 85%

IEC-C15 or IEC-C19 on the equipment side, with figure-8 IEC-C7 as an alternative

Available with Schuko or Italian plug: please specify your choice in the order notes.

Available versions

The cable is available in lengths of 1 m, 2 m and 3 m.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/5278/7645/files/nordost-frey-2-cavo-di-alimentazione-1.jpg?v=1791379618
