Paradigm builds them to order in the length requested, so that they suit the proportions of the screen; this is the version for televisions from 43 to 67 inches, which across its two cabinets has four tweeters and six bass/midrange units. In its longest sizes the model goes up to 8 drive units in each cabinet.

The drive units come from the reworked acoustic platform of the Decor v2 range. Each of the four tweeters uses a 25 mm X-PAL dome of pure aluminium with a satin-anodised finish, damped and cooled by ferrofluid. In front of it sits the perforated PPA lens, which shields the dome and brings its output into phase for extra detail and level at the top end. The 114 mm bass/midrange units, six of them in this version across the two cabinets, have one-piece anodised aluminium cones on nitrile rubber surrounds and 38 mm voice coils rated for high temperatures. A second-order electro-acoustic crossover hands over between them at 3.3 kHz.

The sealed cabinet is an aluminium extrusion with an aluminium baffle, 132 mm high and 66 mm deep, while the length is whatever is fixed at the time of ordering for a screen of 43 to 67 inches. The terminals are angled and set back into the enclosure, and a built-in channel routes the cable without trapping it, so the speakers sit almost flush against the wall. The grille specified for this model is perforated aluminium and stays fixed in place: it is the option Paradigm also intends for outdoor use, whereas acoustic cloth is the range's choice for indoors.

On axis the response runs from 140 Hz to 21 kHz within ±3 dB and, at 30° off axis, from 130 Hz to 17 kHz; the stated low-frequency limit is 80 Hz. Sensitivity is 92 dB in room (89 dB anechoic) and every channel suits 8 ohm amplifiers. Paradigm suggests amplifiers of 15 to 130 W, with 150 W as the most the speaker should be fed.

Specifications

Type: two speakers covering left, centre and right, length made to order

Matching televisions: 43 to 67 inches

Drive units in this version: 4 tweeters and 6 bass/midrange in total

Design: sealed (acoustic suspension), 8 drive units per cabinet at most, depending on size

Tweeter: 25 mm X-PAL pure-aluminium dome, ferrofluid cooling and damping, PPA lens

Bass/midrange: 114 mm one-piece anodised aluminium cone, 38 mm high-temperature voice coil

Crossover: second-order electro-acoustic, 3.3 kHz

On-axis response: 140 Hz to 21 kHz within ±3 dB

Response 30° off axis: 130 Hz to 17 kHz within ±3 dB

Low-frequency limit: 80 Hz

Sensitivity: 92 dB in room, 89 dB anechoic

Recommended amplifier: 15 to 130 W

Maximum power input: 150 W

Impedance: 8 ohm compatible on every channel

Cabinet: aluminium extrusion with aluminium baffle

Grille: perforated aluminium, fixed in place

Dimensions: 132 mm high, 66 mm deep, length made to order

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/5278/7645/files/Paradigm-decor2sc-v2_5c4c0548-3be7-4d6a-bb6d-dac356bafb4e.png?v=1771240339
