Room acoustics

In the Hi-fi and Home Cinema world, for many years it was thought that improvements could only be achieved by replacing active equipment such as amplifiers and audio sources.

The lack of results has often led to the choice of new cables, even very expensive ones.

This last choice has generated confusion and frustration in audiophiles, leading in many cases to create incorrect listening habits and the false awareness of having achieved a result that can be considered a "reference".

The listening environment

The listening environment has always been considered "uncomfortable", in some cases for aesthetic reasons as it coincides with the living room of the house, in other cases because it is perceived as too complex a solution. Room acoustics is certainly a very complex subject, it is applied physics and requires high-level consultancy. We at Videosell have for many years chosen to rely on a serious professional, an acoustic physicist who deals exclusively with this matter with passion and great competence. Only in this way, we believe it is possible to provide our customers with consultancy for the design and construction of acoustically correct environments according to the desired final use.

The Videosell proposal for the ideal listening room is divided into 3 basic solutions:
