The single Bowers & Wilkins HTM6 S3 is the centre-channel speaker to match 600 S3 front speakers. Its horizontal layout places two 130 mm Continuum drivers and a 25 mm Titanium Dome tweeter within a 480 mm-wide cabinet. It is intended for the centre track of a home cinema, where dialogue and on-screen action need a defined location.

Three drivers, two ways
Both Continuum cones share bass and midrange duties, while the titanium dome handles treble. This is not the three-way arrangement of the 700 Series HTM71 S3, which gives an FST midrange its own band between tweeter and woofers. The HTM6 S3 uses a lower cabinet, 480 mm wide and 160 mm high, for placement near a screen.

Bare cabinet depth is 255 mm, rising to 283 mm with grille and terminals. A tight shelf or enclosed recess can obstruct the connections and Flowport: check depth and leave room behind the speaker. At 7.7 kg, its weight also matters for a floating shelf or integrated TV unit. Its horizontal proportions should be considered alongside the height of the screen.
The ±3 dB response is 72 Hz-28 kHz and sensitivity is 87 dB. A 4.3-ohm minimum impedance adds context to the 30-120 W recommended amplifier range. With 603 S3 floorstanders, the centre stays within the same series; 606 S3 or 607 S3 can also form the left and right channels while the HTM6 S3 remains responsible for dialogue.
