Four Class A/B channels in a compact power amplifier for multichannel systems
Arcam PA410 is a four-channel Class A/B power amplifier rated at 4x50 W into 8 ohms, with toroidal transformer, RCA inputs and outputs, and RS232 control.

Four-channel Class A/B
The power section delivers 50 W per channel into 8 ohms and 70 W into 4 ohms with all four channels driven. With two channels driven there is additional reserve, but the design is primarily intended to provide four matched channels in one chassis for expanding a home cinema system.
Construction and power supply
The toroidal transformer works with an acoustically damped chassis and paralleled transistor output stages. These measures are intended to reduce vibration, noise and distortion while preserving control and consistency when several channels are demanded at the same time.
Connections and integration
Four mono RCA inputs receive signals from a processor or preamplifier and four mono RCA outputs provide pass-through to other electronics. RS232 control also suits technical racks and automation systems where power and operation need to be coordinated.
