Power and amplification
The Parasound New Classic 200 Integrated is an amplifier designed to deliver exceptional performance, with an output of 110 watts per channel into both 8 and 4 Ohms. It can drive a wide variety of speakers while maintaining a powerful, consistent sound quality. The Class D amplification by Pascal ensures efficient operation, reducing heat without compromising sound quality, which makes it ideal both for home use and for professional audio systems.
Digital and analogue audio quality
Fitted with a Burr-Brown 192kHz/24-bit DAC, the Parasound 200 Integrated offers crystal-clear digital playback. This digital-to-analogue conversion technology, found in the high-end Halo models, ensures exceptional sound quality with digital sources too. The amplifier has a variety of inputs, both digital (USB, optical, coaxial) and analogue, including four line inputs and a phono input compatible with MM and MC cartridges, ideal for vinyl enthusiasts.
Bass management and subwoofer integration
One of the amplifier’s strengths is its ability to manage bass precisely. Thanks to the high-pass crossover adjustable from 20 to 140Hz and the low-pass subwoofer output at 80Hz, bass performance can be optimised for the room and the audio system. In addition, the subwoofer level and its on/off state can be controlled remotely, for greater flexibility when integrating a subwoofer into the system.
Customisation and remote control
The amplifier allows the audio sources to be managed to suit you. You can rename the inputs for more intuitive navigation, while bass, treble and balance can be adjusted from the remote control. In addition, the input level adjustment lets you balance the volume between sources, for a consistent listening experience. The amplifier also has a dedicated headphone amplifier, perfect for high-quality private listening.
Home integration and energy saving
Designed to fit perfectly into a home automation system, the Parasound 200 Integrated supports two-way control via RS232 and is compatible with the Control4 driver and 12V triggers. These features make it easy to integrate into advanced audio/video control systems. In addition, standby power consumption of just 0.5 watts meets the Energy Star and EU standards, contributing to energy saving and sustainability.
