Forgoing the internal matrix switching found in the MDX-8 and MDX-16, the MDX-12 offers six dedicated zone analog inputs and two selectable global analog inputs , allowing for maximum freedom in configuration with external sources and matrices. The Ultra-Class-D architecture and the Advanced Load Monitoring (ALM) system ensure efficiency, reliability and stability even with demanding loads , always maintaining impeccable audio quality .
