Nine Class D channels, 8K and Radia streaming for a more compact immersive cinema
Arcam AVA15 is a nine-channel Class D AV amplifier for 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 systems, with processing up to 12 channels, HDMI 2.1a 8K, Dirac Live and integrated streaming.
AVA15 belongs to the new Radia AV range and uses nine Class D output stages on a newer platform than the HDA receivers. It is designed to drive Dolby Atmos 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 layouts directly and can expand through 12 pre-outs, keeping video processing, room correction and streaming within the same chassis.

Nine Class D power stages
AVA15 uses nine Class D channels and can directly drive 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 configurations. Stated output is 7x85 W or 9x65 W into 8 ohms; 12 pre-outs also allow external power amplifiers to be added when a project requires more processed channels than the internal amplifier section provides.
Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and 12-channel processing
The platform handles up to 12 channels and supports Dolby Atmos, Dolby True HD, Atmos Height Virtualisation, DTS:X, DTS HD Master and DTS Virtual:X. Front, surround-back and height channels can be reassigned, increasing layout flexibility without forcing processing and built-in amplification into the same configuration.
HDMI 2.1a and 8K video
Seven HDMI inputs and two outputs use HDMI 2.1a with HDCP2.3, eARC and support up to 8K/60 Hz or 4K/120 Hz. HDR10, HDR10+, HDR10+ Gaming, Dolby Vision and HLG are included together with VRR, ALLM and CEC, useful with consoles and high-frame-rate video sources.
Dirac Live
Dirac Live Room Correction is integrated to measure and correct system response in the room. The platform can be expanded with Dirac Live Bass Control and Dirac Live Active Room Treatment, allowing acoustic-management capability to evolve without replacing the AV amplifier.
Radia streaming and formats
Arcam Radia AV Control handles setup, operation, Internet Radio, podcasts and UPnP. Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect and Roon Ready work with AirPlay 2 and Google Cast; formats include FLAC, WAV, AAC, ALAC, AIFF, MP3 and OGG up to 24-bit/192 kHz.
Bluetooth and control
Bluetooth 5.4 supports Snapdragon Sound, AAC, LE Audio and Auracast and can operate for both reception and transmission. RS232, IR and 12V trigger support custom integration, while the back-lit Bluetooth remote and 6.5-inch colour display simplify operation.
Dimensions and accessories
The chassis measures 432 x 170 x 407.4 mm and weighs 10 kg; depth uses the manufacturer's precise value rather than the distributor's rounded 407 mm figure. The box includes mains lead, rear-panel cowl, remote with batteries, measurement microphone, 5 m USB cable, Quick Start Guide and safety instructions.
