Streaming, Class G and Dirac Live combined in a 120-watt stereo system
Arcam SA35 is a streaming integrated amplifier with Class G output rated at 2x120 W into 8 ohms, Dirac Live, ESS Hyperstream IV DAC, HDMI eARC and MM/MC phono.
SA35 combines amplification, high-resolution streaming, digital conversion and room correction in one chassis. It is designed for listeners who want a complete stereo system without separating streamer and amplifier, while retaining fifth-generation Class G output and a digital platform engineered to reduce noise and interference.
Key features
- Class G amplification rated at 2x120 W into 8 ohms and 2x200 W into 4 ohms.
- Streaming up to 32-bit/384 kHz.
- Balanced ESS Hyperstream IV DAC topology.
- Dirac Live Room Correction with supplied microphone.
- MM/MC phono, three RCA inputs and HDMI eARC.
- Two coaxial inputs, two optical inputs and USB-C.

- AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and bidirectional Bluetooth 5.4.
Class G and power supply
Fifth-generation Class G amplification delivers 120 W per channel into 8 ohms and 200 W into 4 ohms. The new linear power supply with toroidal transformer works with the output stage to provide dynamic reserve and low distortion without giving up the efficiency associated with Class G.
Streaming and formats
SA35 supports Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect and Roon Ready, together with AirPlay 2 and Google Cast. The Arcam Radia App also provides Internet Radio, podcasts, UPnP and USB Media. Formats include FLAC, WAV, AAC, ALAC, AIFF, DSD up to DSD256, MP3, MP4, OGG and WMA, with gapless playback.
Hyperstream IV DAC and digital platform
The six-layer digital platform uses a continuous ground plane to keep noise and interference away from the audio circuitry. The ESS Hyperstream IV DAC operates in a balanced configuration with advanced jitter elimination and handles streaming up to 32-bit/384 kHz, while digital inputs operate up to 192 kHz.
Dirac Live and subwoofers
Dirac Live Room Correction measures room response and applies correction filters to the system. Two subwoofer outputs allow one or two subs to be integrated into the stereo system; the measurement microphone and 5 m USB cable are supplied for computer-based calibration.
Analogue inputs, TV and control
Three RCA inputs and the MM/MC phono stage cover analogue sources, while HDMI eARC connects a television directly. Two coaxial inputs, two optical inputs and USB-C complete the digital section; Ethernet, trigger In/Out and IP control also suit integrated installations.
Bluetooth and personal listening
Bluetooth 5.4 is bidirectional and supports Snapdragon Sound, AAC, LE Audio and Auracast. SA35 can therefore receive audio from mobile devices and transmit it to compatible headphones; the 6.5-inch OLED display shows artwork, metadata and configuration information.
