Audeze Maxwell 2

Audeze Maxwell 2: planar wireless gaming headset with over 80 hours of battery

Maxwell 2 is a closed wireless gaming headset with 90 mm planar magnetic transducers, built on the same principles as the Audeze studio headphones: Fluxor magnets, Fazor waveguides and SLAM technology, which gives the bass more punch. The head strap is wide and ventilated and the earpads have been redesigned to leave more room for the ear in long sessions.

The low-latency link runs through the USB-C dongle and reaches 24 bit and 96 kHz; the alternatives are the USB-C cable, the 3.5 mm analogue input and Bluetooth with the LDAC, AAC and LE Audio codecs. The boom microphone is detachable and the FILTER function removes background noise from the voice. It comes in a PlayStation version, with Tempest 3D audio, or an Xbox version, with Dolby Atmos.
