The AudioQuest ThunderBird ZERO is a speaker cable designed to ensure maximum signal integrity between amplifier and loudspeakers. Thanks to ZERO-Tech technology, it eliminates the cable's characteristic impedance, drastically reducing the electrical interactions that can affect frequency response and amplifier stability. The result is a more transparent sound, with a wide soundstage and superior control over the low frequencies.
The construction uses PSC+ (Perfect-Surface Copper+) conductors, featuring an extremely smooth surface that reduces distortion and sonic grain. The noise-dissipation system further improves the cleanliness of the black background, bringing out micro-details and dynamics.
Advanced architecture and noise control
ThunderBird ZERO adopts a balanced geometry with physical separation of the conductors to minimise interference and energy storage. Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation technology reduces RF and high-frequency interference, while the DBS (Dielectric-Bias System) keeps the dielectric polarised, improving signal coherence and speed.
