The HTM71 S3 Signature retains the standard model's driver layout while revising specific parts.
The single Bowers & Wilkins HTM71 S3 Signature is a horizontal centre with a 130 mm Continuum FST midrange, two 130 mm Aerofoil woofers and a Carbon Dome tweeter above the cabinet. Against the regular HTM71 S3, its bass motors, capacitors, terminals and protective tweeter mesh change. The three-way allocation of drivers remains.

Dialogue at the centre
A dedicated midrange handles voices without assigning the whole band to the twin woofers. Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top keeps the dome physically apart from the main baffle. Signature changes reach components and drivers rather than only the exterior. The shorter HTM72 S3 has two Continuum bass/midrange units in a two-way arrangement and no top housing.
Space beneath the screen
The cabinet measures 165 × 628 × 318 mm. Height reaches 233 mm with the tweeter, while depth is 356 mm with grille and terminals. A shelf must support 18.50 kg. Place the centre in relation to the screen while leaving headroom for the tweeter module and access to the rear connections.
The ±3 dB response is 50 Hz-28 kHz, sensitivity is 89 dB and recommended amplification 30-200 W into 8 ohms. Its 3.1-ohm impedance minimum matters for amplifier choice. These headline figures match the regular centre: the component revisions and weight increase from 17.45 to 18.50 kg identify this version more clearly.
