Inline HDMI control module with automation, CEC and IP
The HD11CTRL-V2 is a controller placed on the HDMI line between source and screen that automates the running of a single zone: display power on and off, commands to other devices and responses to events.
Actions can be started by RS-232, IR or IP commands, by HDMI signal detection or by external contacts such as sensors and push buttons; on the output side the module drives the display over IP, IR, RS-232 or CEC and, through its relays, devices like motorised projector screens. Setup is done in a web interface. Along the HDMI path it also helps overcome EDID, HDCP, compatibility and handshake problems, frequent with 4K signals. It passes 18 Gbps HDMI 2.0 with HDR up to 4K at 60 Hz in 4:4:4 and, with the Smart-Scale function, can turn a 4K input into a 1080p output (the 4:2:2 colour space is not supported).
