USB 2.0 over HDBaseT extender kit up to 100 m
The UEX100E-KIT carries USB 2.0 data, stereo analogue audio and control signalling as far as 100 m over one network cable, relying on HDBaseT technology.
Up to four USB devices plug into the transmitter, and the computer attached to the receiver handles them as if they were close by; total bandwidth reaches 480 Mbps and USB 1.1 equipment remains supported. The same cable also carries IR and RS-232 in both directions, 100 Mbps Ethernet and PoC power, which may come from either side. It is useful for bringing the peripherals of a workstation or meeting room to a computer located elsewhere, for instance in a technical room.

Connections
Each unit has an HDBaseT RJ45 port, an Ethernet RJ45 port, a 3.5 mm stereo jack for audio in or out, RS-232 on a 3-pin Phoenix terminal, IR jacks and a 2-way DIP switch. The kit counts as a single USB hop. Power is 24 V 1.25 A; each unit measures 150 x 100 x 25 mm.
