USB 3.2 Gen 1 extender kit over HDBaseT, up to 100 m
The UEX3C-KIT is a pair of units that uses HDBaseT technology to carry USB 3.2 Gen 1 signals up to 100 m across one CAT6A cable, with data bandwidth of up to 5 Gbps.
The host unit sits on the computer side and the remote unit on the peripheral side, offering one USB-A and one USB-C port: up to two devices can thus talk to a single host. Older USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 peripherals also work. PoC power works in both directions, so the supply connects at whichever end is more convenient. A USB-C charging port on the host unit allows the connected computer to be powered from an external adapter. The kit suits webcams for video meetings, capture units, flash memory and drives, KVM devices and audio peripherals.
