The single Monitor XT30 completes a stereo or home cinema system.
The single Polk Audio Monitor XT30 handles the centre channel for films, television and games. Two 5.25" paper woofers flank a 1" Terylene tweeter to keep dialogue tied to the screen.

XT30 or XT35?
At 482.6 mm wide, it is shorter than the XT35. Measure the space beneath the television and leave the front unobstructed. Nickel-plated five-way posts take speaker cable from the amplified centre output of an AV receiver.
The XT35 is lower, wider and can also serve as left or right; the XT30 is the conventional centre where 165.1 mm of height is available. Overall response is 55 Hz-40 kHz, with a 77 Hz lower -3 dB limit; deep bass can go to a subwoofer.
One unit fills the centre channel. Left and right speakers are separate purchases in a multichannel system. This is a passive speaker and needs an amplified centre-channel output. A dedicated centre lets a compatible receiver adjust dialogue level separately from music and effects across the front stage.
