AudioQuest Cinnamon Optical Cables

Toslink optical cable with very high-purity fiber

Cinnamon Optical is a digital fiber-optic cable for Toslink links between digital sources, DACs and amplifiers. Compared with the entry models of the optical range it adopts a purer fiber with even lower dispersion.

Fiber and dispersion

The weak point of optical links is scattered light: bouncing along the fiber it covers a longer route and turns up late, cutting bandwidth and getting in the way of correct data decoding. The fiber in Cinnamon is chosen to keep this effect to a minimum, so the reconstructed analog signal carries less distortion.
