The B&W CT8 LR is the front speaker of the Custom Theatre CT8 series, designed for high-end home cinema systems where high dynamics, precision and sound pressure are required. Designed for installation behind an acoustically transparent screen, it offers a powerful yet perfectly controlled sound output, with a wide and stable soundstage.
The 3-way, sealed-box configuration (Acoustic Suspension) ensures rapid transients and flawless integration with the CT Series subwoofers. The result is a coherent front end, capable of delivering cinematic realism and absolute detail in even the most complex scenes.
Technology derived from Bowers & Wilkins high fidelity
The CT8 LR integrates a 25mm aluminum Nautilus™ tweeter , a 150mm FST™ midrange driver dedicated to the vocal range and dual 250mm (10") woofers for authoritative and precise bass extension. This architecture ensures natural dialogue, lifelike sound effects and impressive dynamics.
Designed to work in synergy with the CT8 CC center speaker and CT subwoofers, the B&W CT8 LR is the ideal choice for large private theaters that aim for performance comparable to that of professional theaters, maintaining tonal coherence and total control across the entire frequency range.
