Compact surrounds for a Signature Elite system
The Signature Elite ES10 pair serves stereo and cinema systems.
The pair of Polk Audio Signature Elite ES10 speakers takes up little space and is particularly suited to home cinema surround channels. Each speaker contains a 1" Terylene dome tweeter and a 4" mica-reinforced polypropylene Dynamic Balance driver. Its small footprint works where the ES15 bookshelf model would be too bulky.
Keyhole slots and a threaded insert provide two wall-mounting options. Alternatively, use a stable shelf with room for the cable at the back. These are passive speakers: connect them to amplified AV receiver outputs through single gold-plated five-way terminals. They have no mains power or wireless connection.

Surround sound at the right scale
The Power Port manages airflow from the bass reflex cabinet. The stated overall response runs from 80 Hz to 40 kHz: in a multichannel system, route lower frequencies to a subwoofer through the receiver's bass management. That leaves the ES10 to handle ambience and effects moving around the listening position.
Compared with the ES15 and ES20, the 4" driver and smaller enclosure prioritise discreet placement. Hi-Res Audio certification applies to the speaker; Dolby Atmos and DTS:X depend on the full system configuration. Surround positioning deserves as much care as the front channels.
