950 Series performance in a 10 cm-deep on-wall format
MK Sound MP950 is a 950 Series loudspeaker with twin 5.25-inch woofers, a professional 1-inch tweeter, 90 dB sensitivity and 80 Hz-20 kHz response.
MK Sound MP950 belongs to the 950 Series and is designed for shallow on-wall installations timbre-matched to the 950 Series. The crossover compensates for wall-boundary effects and the integrated bracket supports direct vertical mounting. The professional tweeter is shared with the 950 Series and derived from MK Sound studio monitors; it is developed for high dynamics and low compression as listening level rises.

Acoustic design
Twin 5.25-inch polypropylene woofers work with a 1-inch soft-dome tweeter developed for high output and low compression. Response is 80 Hz-20 kHz with 90 dB sensitivity. The crossover specifically compensates for wall-boundary effects, addressing the reinforcement and response changes caused by close-to-wall placement so MP950 stays closer to its intended tuning.
Role in the system
The on-wall format brings 950 Series voicing to shallow installations without sacrificing matching with LCR950. Woofer, tweeter and Phase-Focused Crossover follow the LCR950 design philosophy, while the curved magnetic metal grille reduces vibration risk and keeps the front panel clean.
Crossover and timbre matching
The Phase-Focused Crossover integrates woofer and tweeter using frequency, time-domain and dispersion behaviour. Tuning maintains consistency between LCR950 and MP950.
Installation and dimensions
The cabinet measures 50 x 17.5 x 10 cm and weighs 6.6 kg; the integrated bracket is intended for vertical wall mounting.
Construction and finishes
Sealed enclosure and magnetic grille in Black Satin or White Satin. The range is designed as a voice-matched system so satellites and surrounds maintain a consistent transition between channels around the room. It remains voice-matched to the wider 950 Series system and its matching subwoofer integration.
