The Monitor SE 8000F is the largest floorstander of the range, sold as a pair: a three-way reflex design with five drive units, among them a 165 mm midrange and three 203 mm woofers, for big rooms and listeners who want deep bass.

At the head of the range everything grows. The midrange goes up to 165 mm and the three woofers to 203 mm, still using cones of mineral-filled polypropylene, with dust caps inverted and downroll surrounds: light, stiff diaphragms, here with far more surface area than the other floorstanders can muster. Bass extension therefore reaches 35 Hz (DIN), and on-axis response covers 45 Hz to 21 kHz within ±3 dB.
The tweeter remains the 25 mm X-PAL dome in pure aluminium, with ferrofluid for damping and cooling. The PPA lens, a patented perforated plate set ahead of the dome, works as a phase plug: it removes most out-of-phase frequencies, raising and evening out the output with no colouration added, and protects the dome into the bargain. The second-order crossover operates at 800 Hz and at 3 kHz.
At 95 dB in room this is the most sensitive model in the range. The load is 8 ohm compatible, suitable amplifiers run from 15 to 150 W, and the maximum power input is 150 W. The cabinet measures 116.5 × 29.8 × 44.93 cm and weighs 32.2 kg. Like every Monitor SE, it stems from the acoustic research Paradigm undertakes with Canada's National Research Council.
