Dynaudio Evoke 50

Dynaudio Evoke 50: 3-way floorstanding speaker

Evoke 50 is the largest floorstanding speaker of the Evoke series: a full three-way design with a 28 mm soft-dome tweeter, a 15 cm midrange and two 18 cm woofers. It can be used in stereo or as a front speaker in a multi-channel home cinema system built with Evoke models.

The Cerotar tweeter carries the Hexis inner dome and a Ferrite+ ceramic magnet. The midrange, found only on this model of the series, comes from the Contour series: neodymium magnet, 0.4 mm diaphragm and aluminium coil on a glass-fibre former. The two Esotec+ woofers have MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) cones made as a single piece and copper coils, since they reproduce bass only. The rear reflex ports come with foam plugs in two parts, for three settings: open, half open and closed, according to the position in the room.
