Focal Scala Utopia Evo M

Focal Scala Utopia Evo M: 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker

A three-way bass reflex floorstanding loudspeaker from the Utopia series, designed and built in France: the wooden cabinet comes from Burgundy, the drivers from Saint-Etienne. Compared with the Scala Utopia Evo, all three drivers are new.

Drivers

The 27 mm PRISM tweeter, an inverted dome with an M profile and IAL loading, uses a multi-material diaphragm worked with micro-structures. The 13 cm W midrange with M profile, reinforced and fitted with TMD suspension, derives from the Utopia Main professional monitors. The redesigned 27 cm W woofer has a 16 cm dual-ferrite motor.

Adjustments

The OPC+ crossover lets you trim bass and treble to suit the room; the Focus Time layout aims the three drivers at the listening position.
