Motorised side-sliding mechanism that hides a TV behind a picture
The PIC-SIDE (Picture Side Mechanism) moves a panel horizontally in order to conceal a flat TV, with a picture or a panel placed in front of it. It is the right choice when there is no height available for a vertical movement.
The mechanism drives the panel to the left or to the right to cover and uncover the screen. Movement is quiet and smooth, with a ramped speed profile at start and finish, and the components are isolated from vibration. It is surface mounted, which makes installation simpler: the mechanism stands 50 mm off the wall. The product is intended for indoor use.

- Maximum panel weight: 10 kg
- Depth from the wall: 50 mm
- Top speed: 120 mm/s
- Motorised movement with ramped start and stop, declared noise level 47 dB
- Components isolated from vibration

Available sizes
The three models PIC-SIDE1, PIC-SIDE2 and PIC-SIDE3 differ in maximum panel travel. Future Automation also builds made-to-measure versions, with travel and panel weight defined by the project.
Control and integration
The mechanism accepts IR, RS232 and contact closure commands; RF control can be added as an option.
Installation
The mechanism is fixed to the surface of the wall, an arrangement that simplifies installation. The end stops are easy to adjust, so the points where the panel comes to rest can be set accurately.
