2.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker with a 300 mm IsoFlare driver
F704SP is a 2.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker from the F700SP range; the letters SP stand for Special Production. It combines the layout of the F704 model with solutions taken from the F1 Series. Sold as a pair.
Its 300 mm IsoFlare point source unit pairs a multi-fibre cone for bass and midrange with a compression tweeter using a 75 mm titanium dome, so that the two outputs are aligned in time. A second 300 mm woofer extends the response downwards, while the BassTrax system with its Tractrix diffuser spreads low frequencies through 360 degrees into the room. The crossover is an upgraded version with ClarityCap capacitors and Vishay resistors, and is cryogenically treated. The sandwich-type aluminium plinth derives from that of the F1-12S model: it keeps the cabinet stable and helps bass dispersion.

Technical data
The crossover uses a second-order low-pass and a first-order high-pass. The cabinet is made of pressed birch plywood of high density, braced internally; it measures 1353 x 579 x 568 mm (height x width x depth) and weighs 71.5 kg: size and weight apply to one loudspeaker.
Installation
The Fyne Audio data sheet also states where a super tweeter should sit relative to the cabinet: 119 mm back from its front edge for S-Trax and 95 mm for SuperTrax.
