Gallo Acoustics Droplet Micro SE: pendant loudspeaker with a flat-diaphragm transducer
The Droplet Micro SE takes the high-performance Gallo Acoustics Micro SE design up to the ceiling, in pendant form. Its defining element is the proprietary 3-inch transducer with a flat diaphragm and very wide dispersion, housed in an entirely metal sphere 4 inches in diameter. The terminal section is a new design.
It is installed hanging: the box contains 2 m of loudspeaker cable and a ceiling rose set, which holds the black rose as well as the white one. The stated frequency response extends from 120 Hz to 22 kHz. The manufacturer describes it as a carefully styled variant, for those who want a suspended loudspeaker instead of a shelf, wall or stand model.
