JVC DLA-NZ500 , equipped with cutting-edge technologies to deliver extraordinary visual quality, ideal for home cinema enthusiasts and professional video projection. Thanks to its compact design, it is currently one of the smallest native 4K projectors on the market, without compromising on performance.
Design and Components
The DLA-NZ500 features completely redesigned external and internal components to improve efficiency and image quality.
The projector is equipped with a new BLU-Escent laser light source, which ensures high brightness and long lamp life, as well as improved colour reproduction.
The high-quality objective lens is composed of 80mm diameter, 15 elements and 11 groups, to ensure precise and detailed projection.
Image Quality
The projector features 0.69-inch native 4K D-ILA devices, which work in tandem to deliver a resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels. With a brightness of 2000 lumens , the DLA-NZ500 delivers vivid, detailed images even in environments that are not completely darkened.
The native contrast is impressive, with a value of 40,000:1 , while the dynamic contrast is virtually infinite (∞:1). This translates into images with deep, brilliant blacks, ideal for HDR content.
Advanced HDR Support
Frame Adapt HDR is a second-generation technology that dynamically adapts HDR image tones on a frame-by-frame or scene-by-scene basis, always delivering the highest possible visual quality. The DLA-NZ500 also supports HDR10+ and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of HDR formats.
Auto Tone Mapping automatically adjusts settings to optimise HDR10 picture quality, offering precise management of brightness and gradations.
Display Mode and Color
The projector is compatible with FILMMAKER™ Mode , which faithfully reproduces the content creator's intentions. Other display modes are also available, including Natural , Cinema , Vivid , and several HDR modes, allowing for extensive customization to suit the type of content being viewed.
Thanks to the 6-axis colour management system, colour reproduction is extremely accurate, even exceeding the DCI/P3 specifications, for saturated and immersive images.
Advanced Features and Connectivity
The DLA-NZ500 includes a host of advanced features, such as Low Latency Mode for gamers and automatic calibration with an optional optical sensor, to ensure professional-quality images at all times. It features 2 HDMI inputs with support for 4K60P and a bandwidth of up to 32Gbps , compatible with HDCP 2.3, ensuring maximum compatibility with the latest video sources.
