Frameless speaker flush with the wall or ceiling, with Uni-Q® driver

The KEF Ci130QSfl is a square flush-mount speaker with no bezel (frameless), designed to sit completely flush with the wall or ceiling for a finish of absolute architectural cleanliness. Sold individually, it is part of the KEF Ci-Q series and features the Uni-Q® driver combined with Tangerine Waveguide technology for wide, even sound dispersion. Suitable both for new builds and for retrofit work, it can be integrated directly into the plastering process for a completely concealed result. For those who prefer the round format, the Ci130QRfl model offers the same drivers in a circular version.

Uni-Q® and Tangerine Waveguide: a point source for even sound

The Uni-Q® driver places the 19 mm tweeter exactly at the acoustic centre of the 130 mm (5.25") woofer, so that the two drivers act as a single point source. Tangerine Waveguide technology optimises high-frequency dispersion, ensuring even sound coverage over 130° and crystal-clear sound at every point in the room. The result is coherent, detailed sound, with a frequency response from 45 Hz to 34 kHz and a maximum SPL of 103 dB.

Frameless design for absolute architectural integration

Unlike traditional flush-mount speakers, the Ci130QSfl has no visible bezel: once installed and plastered in, it disappears completely into the surface. It is the ideal solution for rooms with clean lines and minimalist finishes, where any protruding element would be incompatible with the architectural design. The grille is the only visible element, and can be painted to match any wall colour.

Intuitive installation in new builds and retrofits

With external dimensions of 200.5 × 200.5 mm and a mounting depth of 101 mm, the Ci130QSfl fits walls and ceilings with a thickness from 8 to 31 mm. The required cut-out is 158 × 158 mm. The ideal rear volume is 15 L (minimum 10 L). It requires neither a pre-installation frame nor a dedicated rear enclosure — ease of mounting is an integral part of the design.

The Ci130QSfl is designed for residential and commercial installations where aesthetics are as much a priority as audio quality. It integrates perfectly with the other speakers in the KEF Ci-Q series for multiroom systems, multi-zone audio distribution or discreet surround configurations, maintaining the same Uni-Q® sonic signature at every point of the installation.
