Rectangular in-wall or in-ceiling speaker with Uni-Q® driver
The KEF Ci160QL is a rectangular two-way flush-mount speaker designed to blend into walls and ceilings with the utmost discretion, filling the room with wide, even sound thanks to the KEF Uni-Q® driver. Sold individually, it combines a 160 mm (6.5") woofer with a 19 mm tweeter in a Uni-Q® configuration for a frequency response from 38 Hz to 34 kHz. The Ultra-Thin Bezel (UTB) frame keeps the visible edge to a minimum, ensuring flawless visual integration in any room. For those who need a 200 mm woofer in the rectangular format, the Ci200QL model is available.
Uni-Q®: maximum sound coverage with fewer speakers
The KEF Uni-Q® driver places the 19 mm tweeter exactly at the acoustic centre of the 160 mm woofer, so that both act as a single point source. The result is wide, even sound dispersion throughout the room, which makes it possible to cover even medium-sized rooms with fewer speakers than conventional solutions — a real advantage in terms of both cost and installation complexity.
Full-range performance and installation in under two minutes
With a sensitivity of 89 dB, a response reaching down to 38 Hz and compatibility with amplifiers from 10 to 125 W into 8 Ω, the Ci160QL delivers rich, balanced sound suited both to background music and to more involved listening. The KEF fixing system is designed to make installation extremely quick: once the cable has been run and the hole cut, the speaker is up and running in under two minutes.
Flexible in-wall or in-ceiling installation
With external dimensions of 303 × 223 mm and a mounting depth of 91 mm, the Ci160QL fits walls and ceilings with a thickness from 3 to 30 mm. The required cut-out is 274 × 194 mm. The optional RIF160L pre-installation frame simplifies fitting during construction, while the optional RNC160L rear enclosure improves bass response and acoustic isolation from the cavity.

The Ci160QL is the ideal choice for secondary listening zones, multiroom audio distribution, medium-sized residential and commercial spaces or as a surround channel in Home Theatre systems. It integrates perfectly with the other speakers in the KEF Ci-Q series, ensuring the same Uni-Q® sonic signature at every point of the installation.
