Extreme architectural subwoofer for custom home theatre
The KEF Ci250RRb-THX is a flush-mount architectural subwoofer designed to deliver deep, controlled, high-impact bass in high-end home theatre, music and gaming systems. Part of KEF's Extreme Home Theatre range, it incorporates a 250 mm extra-long-throw LF driver with a powerful 150 oz magnet, designed to generate intense low frequencies with high precision and low distortion. It is the ideal solution for those who want an engaging cinematic experience while keeping the subwoofer perfectly integrated into the room.
Deep bass down to 20 Hz with KASA500 amplification
The KEF Ci250RRb-THX is designed to work with the dedicated KEF KASA500 amplifier, equipped with DSP, so as to obtain maximum control over the low frequencies. In this configuration, the subwoofer achieves a response down to 20 Hz, with an extension down to 16 Hz according to the stated range, offering a physical and realistic impact in action scenes, soundtracks and the most dynamic music content. The maximum sound pressure level of 109 dB ensures energy, presence and a great ability to fill sizeable rooms.
THX Ultra certification for cinema rooms and advanced living spaces
The KEF Ci250RRb-THX is THX® Certified Ultra in the configuration with four subwoofers driven by one KEF KASA500 amplifier, while with two units driven by the same amplifier it achieves the performance required by the THX® Select standard. This arrangement makes it particularly suitable for large home theatre rooms, high-end living rooms and custom installations that call for a performance faithful to the sound balance of film productions. The result is powerful yet defined bass, able to make action sequences more engaging and dialogue passages more natural.
Discreet, robust design with IP64 protection
Designed to fit elegantly into the most carefully finished rooms, the KEF Ci250RRb-THX uses an Ultra-Thin Bezel edge with an extremely small visible frame and a paintable magnetic grille. This solution allows the subwoofer to disappear visually into walls or ceilings, leaving room only for the sound. The IP64 certification guarantees protection against dust and splashes of water, extending the installation options. The mechanical structure is robust, precise and designed to simplify mounting in high-end professional and residential systems.
