The KEF Q6 Meta is a 3-way centre / LCR speaker designed to deliver precise, dynamic and perfectly intelligible reproduction of dialogue, soundtracks and effects. Designed to integrate with the other models in the Q series, it uses the renowned 12th-generation Uni-Q array together with MAT™ technology, a solution developed by KEF to reduce unwanted resonances and make the sound cleaner, more natural and more focused. The result is a wide, coherent and very believable front soundstage, ideal for high-level home theatre systems.
Designed for a wider, more coherent soundstage
Thanks to its configuration with a coaxial Uni-Q driver, the Q6 Meta disperses sound more evenly in the room, improving tonal coherence and soundstage stability even off-axis. The 3-way closed-box design combines a vented aluminium tweeter of 19 mm with MAT™, an aluminium midrange of 100 mm and two hybrid aluminium woofers of 165 mm, so as to separate high, mid and low frequencies more precisely. KEF has designed it both as a classic centre channel and as an LCR speaker, so it is also suited to more advanced home cinema configurations.
Balanced performance, elegant finishes and simple integration
The KEF Q6 Meta offers a frequency response of 63 Hz – 20 kHz (±3 dB), a sensitivity of 86 dB, a nominal impedance of 4 ohm and a recommended amplifier power of between 15 and 200 W. With dimensions of 210 × 629 × 303 mm and a weight of 14.1 kg, it is a substantial centre speaker, designed for systems where presence and performance must go hand in hand. It is available in Satin Black, Satin White and Walnut finishes, with a colour-matched magnetic grille for a more refined visual integration in the living room or home cinema room.
