Balanced all the way to the amplifiers
XLR outputs for every channel provide the natural link to AMP 30, particularly with remote racks or long cable runs. AV 30 brings the separates approach to an 11.4 matrix, enough for a complete 7.4.4 layout. AV 20 rises to 13.4 and AV 10 to 15.4 for extra height or width pairs. AMP 30 supplies six channels for expansion; powering all eleven channels from scratch requires additional amplifiers or an AMP 20. Starting with 7.4.4 can free budget for subwoofers, acoustic treatment and better power amplification. At this level, installation quality matters more than two or four additional channels that would remain unused.
