MK Sound IC65 is a 2-way in-ceiling loudspeaker supplied as a pair, with a 6.5-inch woofer, swivelling 1-inch tweeter, 91 dB sensitivity and 150 W power handling.
IC65 brings MK Sound voicing to ceiling installations requiring even coverage and aiming toward the listening area. The coated-silk dome tweeter can swivel by 15 degrees, while the mineral-filled polypropylene woofer operates at a nominal 4-ohm impedance.

Drivers and response
The coaxial layout keeps woofer and tweeter on the same axis, with a swivelling tweeter to improve on-axis response toward the seating area. Response changes with the rear loading: it is rated at 70 Hz-20 kHz with the back can and 50 Hz-20 kHz without it.

The architectural range uses driver and crossover technologies derived from MK Sound consumer and professional monitors to maintain consistent voicing between visible and concealed speakers. This supports Atmos/height use or distributed music across several rooms.
Installation
Speaker outside diameter is 248 mm, required cut-out is 221.5 mm and depth without back can is 101 mm; with the can, total depth becomes 230.7 mm. The slim grille reduces visual impact on the ceiling.
