Monitor Audio AWC280-T2

Monitor Audio AWC280-T2: IP55 stereo in-ceiling speaker

The AWC280-T2 is an in-ceiling or in-wall speaker from the Monitor Audio All Weather range which, where room is restricted, reproduces both stereo channels with just one unit. Its 8-inch C-CAM woofer, anodised black, is placed coaxially with respect to two 1-inch C-CAM Gold Dome tweeters, set side by side at a fixed angle.

Like the other All Weather models it has IP55 certification, a trimless grille in SS430 stainless steel, stainless fixing screws, EPDM barriers and non-ferrous samarium cobalt magnets; the operating temperature runs from -34 to 79 degrees C. The chassis is a mineral-filled PC-ABS polymer, flame retardant to UL V0. The fixing is the three-point Tri-Grip and the treble level is set at the time of installation; the accessories include an optional square grille with an outer side of 285 mm.
