Excellence remastered
Virtually everything has changed
At the heart of the 2nd generation Mu-so is the Naim music streaming platform, developed by 25 engineers over 3 years to deliver the best performance playing your music collection, the whole world of internet radio or music streaming services such as TIDAL and <Spotify. These acclaimed innovations are found only in Naim streamers, such as the Uniti series and dedicated network players, including the iconic ND 555.
The all-new digital signal multiprocessor (DSP) delivers higher performance at 2000 MPS (million instructions per second) compared to 150 MPS from the previous Mu-so's single-core processor. This means you can hear even more of your music.
We have developed a new limiting algorithm that keeps each Mu-so 2ᵃ generation speaker in check at high volumes. The new limiter, by choice, is only active at very high volumes to maintain clarity in playback and ensure greater long-term reliability.
The 2nd generation Mu-so offers revolutionary performance, features and functionality. Enjoy your music the way you want.
The 2nd generation Mu-so's 450 Watts of musical power comes together with improved and optimized drivers – a joint development between Naim and Focal's R&D teams.
Focal has been manufacturing reference loudspeakers since 1979 and its expertise has taken precision and loudspeaker performance to new levels
Discover the new and intuitive knob
The intuitive new interface features 15 touch buttons in a solid, bright volume knob with a proximity sensor that turns on the display.
The 2nd generation Mu-so features a die-cast aluminum body with a new gloss gray finish.
It may look similar from the outside, but inside the Mu-so 2ᵃ generation most of the components have been updated to improve its performance.
The cabinet has been redesigned to create 13% more internal volume for bigger and better bass. Cabinet and grilles have been redesigned for greater rigidity to eliminate and control vibration.
The iconic cooling fins are now more compact while retaining their outstanding effectiveness and include Naim's patented incorporating Wi-Fi antenna.
Improved commando app
Updated Naim app allows selection by artist, genre, album and more, including cover art and extended music information
