Naim SNAIC

Two DIN versions dedicated to system links between Naim electronics

Naim SNAIC covers 4-pin-to-4-pin and 5-pin-to-5-pin 1.25 m cables engineered with electrical parameters specific to Naim system connections.

The single Naim SNAIC is selected as either the 4-pin or 5-pin version according to the sockets specified by the connected products. It is distinct from a conventional source-to-preamplifier lead: in traditional Naim systems SNAIC links compatible preamplifiers, power supplies and power amplifiers according to the product connection diagram.

Key features

• SNAIC 4 with 4-pin DIN at both ends
• SNAIC 5 with 5-pin DIN at both ends
• 1.25 m length for both distributor variants
• Custom cable specification for impedance, capacitance and conductivity
• Hand assembly at Naim
• Compatibility defined by system wiring rather than pin count alone

SNAIC and Interconnect are not equivalents

A conventional Interconnect carries audio between source and input sockets; SNAIC belongs to the modular architecture of Classic electronics and their partnering supplies. A DIN plug that appears to fit therefore does not make two leads interchangeable, because the assigned pin functions still have to match.
