Nordost Frey 2 Interconnect Cable

Nordost Frey 2: analog interconnect cable

Frey 2 is an analog interconnect from the Norse 2 series, suited to the most critical signal links in a system. It adopts Dual Mono-Filament construction, a Nordost proprietary design that made its debut on the Valhalla reference cables: a suspension system for the conductor that surrounds it with a dielectric made almost entirely of air.

There are five 24 AWG conductors, solid core in OFC copper plated in silver, with FEP insulation. The higher conductor count improves ground integrity and lowers the noise floor, to the benefit of detail and dynamic range. Design and materials are shared by the whole Norse 2 series.
