The Garden Oasis satellite with a 160 mm woofer: a sealed two-way outdoor speaker with 92 dB in-room sensitivity, for gardens and terraces that need more output from every point of emission.
GO6: the design
In the GO6 the cone, polypropylene loaded with minerals, measures 160 mm and is held by an NBR rubber surround. This driver is what shapes the figures: on-axis response starts at 110 Hz and reaches 20 kHz within ±3 dB, bass extends down to 74 Hz and sensitivity is 92 dB in room, 88 dB in an anechoic chamber. Maximum input is 80 W, with recommended amplifiers from 15 to 120 W into a load compatible with 8 ohms.
Treble comes from a 19 mm X-PAL dome with ferrofluid, brought in at 2.5 kHz through a second-order electro-acoustic filter. The dome lives in a RED technology housing: its uneven edges and offset mounting interrupt the standing waves that build up between cone and tweeter support and limit diffraction, so the midrange stays clean even outdoors. The low-diffraction die-cast front plate sheds heat, and the PolyGlass enclosure is made to live with rain and sun.
Like every Garden Oasis model, the GO6 installs with the Quick Twist Cap fitting, which accepts a stake for the ground, a buried conduit box that protects the cable and a bracket for decks and walls. The rotary switch on the back selects either the 8 ohm connection or constant-voltage operation at 70 or 100 V. A system can grow in stages, adding satellites and subwoofers, and runs from an ordinary 8 ohm amplifier by following the voltage tap table Paradigm publishes.
