R210s: twin 10-inch drivers for systems that value control over bulk
Smaller than the R212s yet fundamentally different from single-driver models, the R210s brings push-pull operation to rooms where space and precision must coexist.
Its two 250 mm drivers share the work and reduce even-order distortion through opposed operation. One unit is THX Ultra certified; a four-unit arrangement can achieve THX Dominus, a specification that reveals its modular role in designs using several bass sources.

A subwoofer for a distributed design
The R210s is attractive when the designer favours several relatively compact cabinets over one or two enormous volumes. Four units can be distributed to address room modes and widen the useful listening area. Even alone, its dual motor produces behaviour unlike the R10s, which shares the driver diameter but not the operating principle.
R210s versus R212s
The R212s provides more area and reaches Dominus with two units; the R210s needs a more elaborate system for that target but offers greater placement freedom and a narrower cabinet. Geometry drives the choice: available walls, depth behind the screen, seat count and cable routes matter more than a linear ranking.
Shared control, specific use
The R platform's 48-bit DSP, 32-bit processor, PEQ, phase, RCA/XLR, touchscreen, app and trigger are summarised here. On the R210s they are especially valuable when aligning several units: presets and adjustment allow each position to be assessed without confusing room differences with driver limitations.
Why it is not simply a doubled R10s
The R10s is a domestic single-driver 750 W subwoofer; the R210s uses 1300 W and an opposed pair for more demanding rooms. A medium living room may not justify push-pull weight and cost. A cinema requiring high levels across several seats instead gains a repeatable, precise module that is easier to distribute than the R212s.
