Signature performance in a more compact centre speaker for smaller screens and rooms
Perlisten S5c is a 3-way acoustic-suspension centre speaker with a 28 mm Beryllium/Textreme TPCD DPC Array, designed as a more compact alternative to S7c.
S5c brings Signature-series character to installations where S7c would be physically excessive. It retains the S-Series DPC Array, THX Dominus/Ultra certification and a sealed alignment, while reducing cabinet size and absolute output capability for easier integration with smaller screens and shallower front stages.

The Signature centre for more manageable spaces
S5c was developed as the smaller sibling to S7c for rooms and screens that need a more compact centre loudspeaker. The philosophy is unchanged: clear dialogue, low distortion and controlled dispersion remain priorities, while the shorter cabinet is easier to integrate into a more typical domestic cinema front stage.
DPC Array without stepping down a series
The DPC Array retains the 28 mm Beryllium tweeter and two 28 mm Textreme TPCD domes used across S-Series. Its waveguide controls mid/high-frequency dispersion and maintains timbre matching with other Signature models, helping voices and effects move consistently between left, centre and right channels.
Textreme TPCD and acoustic suspension
The low-frequency drivers use Textreme TPCD diaphragms and operate in a sealed cabinet. Acoustic suspension gives more predictable behaviour near walls and screens, useful when a centre speaker must work inside furniture, a niche or a purpose-built cinema structure.
Dynamics for a serious home cinema
Sensitivity is 88.8 dB, with recommended amplifier power between 100 and 300 W RMS and stated peak capability above 113 dB. Those figures allow S5c to anchor an S5t/S5m system while retaining enough dynamic headroom for demanding film soundtracks.

S5c therefore retains Signature positioning while targeting rooms that do not require the extreme scale of an S7c-based installation.
