S5i-C: the Signature centre proportioned for a domestic cinema
The S5i-C places dialogue and action behind the screen in a 665 mm-wide body that is easier to integrate than the large S7i-C.
It completes a pair of S5i-LR speakers with comparable materials, directivity and capacity across all three front channels. Horizontal orientation answers the centre role and screen geometry rather than reducing sonic ambition.

Believable dialogue across several seats
A centre must remain intelligible away from the perfectly central seat. The DPC Array controls dispersion and twin woofers spread contribution along the horizontal axis. Ideally it sits behind the speaking area of the picture; without an acoustically transparent screen, height and tilt need planning so voices do not appear to come from the floor.
The partner for S5i-LR
Using the S5i-C with S5i-LR creates a coherent front stage with matching diameters, Signature materials and up to 350 W recommended power. Voices and effects can cross laterally without changing colour. A centre should not be selected only because it fits the opening: it must sustain the same level as the main channels.
Controlled building integration
The aluminium back box and quick-dog system continue the Signature solution already described on the S7i-LR. Sealed volume reduces dependence on the wall and a paintable white grille covers the baffle. Before cutting, use the actual mounting dimensions, which differ from the external size presented in the price list.
When the S7i-C is needed
The S7i-C doubles woofer count, accepts up to 600 W and serves larger screens or distances. The S5i-C is more rational in a medium domestic cinema where the bigger model could complicate structure and position without usable benefit. If the front uses S7i-LR units, their matching centre prevents the hardest-working channel from being undersized. Its shorter span also makes exact alignment with the visual centre easier in domestic construction.
