S5i-LR: a Signature front channel for medium cinemas and media rooms
The S5i-LR reduces height and woofer count from the S7i-LR while retaining the premium DPC Array for an invisible front stage without overspecification.
It is the natural left/right choice behind a medium screen or beside a television in a fitted wall. Two 180 mm woofers provide the capacity required in a system with dedicated subwoofers while allowing more freedom around wall studs.

The middle size in the S Series
At 665 mm external height, the S5i-LR fits where an S7i-LR would be too long or difficult to align with the screen. It retains high sensitivity and Dominus certification but limits recommended power to 350 W. It serves medium rooms and domestic distances rather than replacing the larger model in an enormous cinema.
Two woofers with a properly integrated subwoofer
Twin 180 mm drivers handle lower midrange and front-channel dynamics, while correctly placed subwoofers should reproduce the deepest frequencies. This division lets the speaker focus on intelligibility and imaging rather than demanding unrealistic wall-mounted extension. The handover should be verified by measurement at the listening position.
Signature technology without repetition
In brief: Beryllium tweeter, Textreme TPCD mids and woofers, plus DPC Array directivity and matching with other S models. An aluminium back box with quick dogs stabilises acoustic volume and simplifies mounting, while the paintable magnetic grille enables discreet integration in a media room.
S5i-LR or S4i-LCRS?
The S4i-LCRS is smaller and can also act as centre or surround, but has one woofer and lower sensitivity. Prefer the S5i-LR as a main speaker when stereo imaging and dynamic margin come first. The S4i-LCRS better suits repeatable layouts or walls with smaller openings.
