S7i-LR: the Signature main channel that disappears behind the screen
Designed for the left and right channels of a large cinema, the S7i-LR transfers S-Series scale and directivity control into the wall.
Four woofers and the DPC Array suit the front line of a THX Dominus system, especially behind an acoustically transparent screen. Vertical orientation supports stereo imaging, stage height and continuity with the S7i-C centre.

The LR reference for the largest rooms
At almost one metre of useful height and with four 180 mm woofers, the S7i-LR targets long distances and large screens. Choose it when the S5i-LR would not provide equal reserve with dense soundtracks or realistic music levels. It is not an oversized surround: its job is to build the main front stage.
DPC Array and Signature materials
A Beryllium tweeter and Textreme TPCD mid domes operate in the DPC Array waveguide to control dispersion through the vocal and high-frequency range. The woofers also use Textreme TPCD. This separates the S Series from the R, whose silk domes and HPF cones address a different price and performance level.
Aluminium back box and quick dogs
This is where the shared Signature in-wall construction is explained in full. An integral sealed aluminium rear enclosure makes response independent of an unknown wall cavity and limits sound transmission to adjacent rooms. Quick dogs secure the assembly in the opening, while the white magnetic grille can be painted to disappear into the finish.
Why LR rather than C
The S7i-LR and S7i-C share drivers and power handling but not purpose. The LR model works vertically to define position, width and depth beside the screen. The S7i-C turns the same complement horizontally to anchor dialogue and action at the centre; exchanging them without respecting orientation would compromise the front-stage design.
